Administrative -Accounting Assistant

Mika Meyers is currently seeking a full-time Administrative-Accounting Assistant for a position in its Grand Rapids office. This person will process accounts payable and accounts receivable for the company, take and process customer orders, and provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.  Also, this person will report to the Accounting and Operations Departments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the management team with various administrative tasks
  • Assist with Admin Services, as needed
  • Ensure all client charges are posted before month-end processing begins
  • Code and process daily check run
  • Daily cash application of client payments to accounts
  • Prepare the daily bank deposit
  • Interact with clients and other third-party contacts in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner
  • Effectively manage the indexing and storage of incoming electronic documents, including emails and related attachments
  • Receive, sort, and send outgoing mail
  • Other projects as assigned


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Computer literacy with programs and bookkeeping systems
  • Effectively prioritizes work assignments
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation will be commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
