
Administrative -Accounting Assistant
Mika Meyers is currently seeking a full-time Administrative-Accounting Assistant for a position in its Grand Rapids office. This person will process accounts payable and accounts receivable for the company, take and process customer orders, and provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Also, this person will report to the Accounting and Operations Departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the management team with various administrative tasks
- Assist with Admin Services, as needed
- Ensure all client charges are posted before month-end processing begins
- Code and process daily check run
- Daily cash application of client payments to accounts
- Prepare the daily bank deposit
- Interact with clients and other third-party contacts in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner
- Effectively manage the indexing and storage of incoming electronic documents, including emails and related attachments
- Receive, sort, and send outgoing mail
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Computer literacy with programs and bookkeeping systems
- Effectively prioritizes work assignments
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation will be commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
