Dan Parmeter Interviewed Regarding PFAS Playing a Role in Future Mergers and Acquisitions

Dan Parmeter was recently interviewed by Mark Sanchez, a reporter from MiBiz, regarding PFAS and its role in future transactions.  Dan explained that PFAS may come up during a transaction when a seller has had a history in manufacturing.  A buyer is going to need to know if the items manufactured at the site would have any PFAS associated with it.  Dan added that a buyer may want to just purchase certain assets and designate that any liability stays with the seller.  Like any other potential liabilities, if the parties have different views on the amount of risk associated with a deal, it could be a deal killer. However, if they view the risk similarly, they should be able to work out a mutually agreeable solution for all.
