Elizabeth Bransdorfer Quoted in U.S. News Article Regarding Child Support vs. Alimony

On May 24, 2019, Liz Bransdorfer was quoted in the U.S. News article “Child Support vs. Alimony: Do You Know the Difference?” In the article, Liz explains that child support is almost always awarded when minor children are involved. She added that in Michigan, child support is always determined first and then spousal support. Also, unlike child support, there are no formulas for determining spousal support. Child and spousal support are confusing, but a divorce attorney can assist with the dissolution of the marriage and also assist with the final agreement so all can move forward in life.
