Fox 17 News Interviews Jennifer Puplava at Cyber Security Conference Regarding Risks to Small Businesses

On October 9, 2019, Jennifer Puplava was interviewed by Fox 17 regarding precautions small businesses should take to protect themselves from online hackers and phishing scams. Jennifer explained that if a business does not take reasonable security measures to help protect their sensitive information then they can become subject to a lawsuit for negligence or for breach of duty. She also added that “Any business that is more than a business of one (person) is going to need to start paying attention to these issues.”
