Randy Velzen has joined the firm as a member. He almost exclusively practices in the area of family law (including estate planning). Randy helps his clients through the often complicated divorce process and is highly experienced with such matters as custody issues, property divisions and support. He was one of the first attorneys in West Michigan to complete collaborative law training through the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan (“CPIM”), which is the state organization for Collaborative professionals. Randy is past President of CPIM. In addition, Randy is part of the training team PRISM, LLC, which trains professionals for collaborative divorce. He is a founding member of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals of West Michigan. Randy is also the President Elect of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
