Mika Meyers Beckett & Jones to Host Hospitality Reception At 2014 MTA Educational Conference

The Michigan Townships Association’s 61st Annual Educational Conference will be held at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme from January 28 through 31, 2014. The Conference features educational programs and workshops for township officials, appointed personnel and township employees.

Our firm will host its annual hospitality reception at the Grand Traverse Resort, Room 1256, on Wednesday, January 29, from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. If you will be attending the Conference, we invite you to visit us at our hospitality reception for snacks and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you.

Also, on Wednesday, January 29, Tim Tornga will be speaking at the Conference on the “Affordable Care Act, Exchanges and Employee Benefit Matters,” Mark Nettleton will be speaking on “Navigating Municipal Revenue Streams” and Andrea Crumback and Josh Beard will be speaking on “To Settle or Not to Settle: Assessing Appraisals in Property Tax Litigation.” On Thursday, January 30, Ron Redick will be speaking on “Outpacing the Law: FOIA and OMA in the Digital Age.” We hope you have a chance to sit in on these sessions.
