Mika Meyers Strengthens Its Team with the Addition of Associate Mitchell W. Lys

Mitchell W. Lys has joined the firm as an associate and will be based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.  His practice focuses on estate and trust planning, oil and gas, and real estate matters. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Michigan State University, graduating with honors, and later received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.  Before joining Mika Meyers, he worked for Fidelity National Financial, where he investigated title insurance claims involving mortgage execution, lien priority, chain of title defects, and other title-related issues.
