On October 5, 2020, Mike Huff was quoted in Crain’s Detroit Business publication regarding the Michigan Supreme Court ruling that the executive orders issued by the governor in response to the COVID-19 pandemic now lack basis under Michigan law. Mike explained the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration may need to write new administrative rules for COVID-related standards. Unfortunately, Mike added that he foresees more litigation over the next few months to figure out how administrative agencies are legally authorized or not authorized to continue to enforce actions during the pandemic.
