Ross Leisman Interviewed by Michigan Townships Association

Ross Leisman was recently interviewed by the Michigan Townships Association (MTA) for the article, “Is hiring a township manager the right choice for your township?”  The article was published in MTA’s November 2023 Township Focus Magazine.  In addition to Ross’ legal practice, he is also the Ada Township Supervisor, and he works with Ada’s first township manager.  Ross reported that “Having a manager is very helpful for the township’s budget and finances, and helps bring consistency into our budgeting and spending.”  The article also reported that townships of all sizes across the state are moving to this form of administration—with approximately 5% already having taken the leap and the number keeps growing.  To learn more about township managers and gain insight from townships that have a manager, check out the linked article.
